It had good mix of skiers of varying abilities and it was good to see some improvements over the weekend. 	Junior Development Training Camp 2009 The Junior Development training is open to children who are accomplished skiers and boarders. The attendees will be provided with the opportunity to develop their technique for skiing/boarding for advanced levels and some race training. Cross Country training sessions will also be available. Participants must bring along their own equipment for the respective disciplines and will be able to choose their preferred field/s prior to the commencement of the Camp. The participants will have the opportunity to be coached by Darren Powell - the world’s fastest snowboarder. Darren is an accomplished Ski and Snowboard Coach and has been involved with the snowsports industry for over 20 years. 		Junior Training Weekend 28 - 29 June 2008 The junior training weekend was held on the last weekend of June 2008. The snow conditions could be considered as appalling but due to the use of the snow guns on Perishers front valley there was 1 run available for skiing and boarding. 		Junior Training Weekend 23 - 24th June 2007 The first junior training weekend was held on the 23 and 24 June 2007 and five children participated between the ages of 7 and 13 years of age.
			The following children participated in the weekend fun: Rhia Phillips Byrson Masters Jacob Taylor Nicklaus Taylor Gemma Frew
		Marianne Taylor was in charge for the weekend and the children were supported by their families. On the Saturday morning the children skied on front valley and mid station in good weather conditions and a good cover of snow.
			The sausage sizzle lunch was provided by our new manager Glen Frost (Frosty) at the Perisher Valley ski centre, which was very enjoyable. On the Saturday afternoon the juniors skied on Zalis at Blue Cow but was a bit icy for some of the juniors.
		On the Sunday the juniors skied front valley and mid station and enjoyed there $1.50 hot chocolates. All the children had a great time skiing (no snow boarders in our group) and enjoyed the ambience of the lodge.
